Stirling Dynamics is recruiting a Mechanical Design Engineer to join the Hydromechanical Design capability team on a permanent basis.
The Mechanical Design Engineer will be supporting the design and development of innovative technical solutions for applications within the aerospace, flight simulator sectors & Urban Air Mobility sectors. The Mechanical Design Engineer will be required to work closely with System, Stress, Electronics, Performance & Simulation engineers within a multidisciplinary project team to ensure the delivery of projects to the agreed technical requirements, timescales and budget. They will be involved in all aspects of the product design life cycle, from initial concept generation, detailed design, implementation, product improvement and in-serve product support.
This role will be based in our Bristol office however as part of our commitment to flexible working, employees are able to work remotely for part of the time.

Practical (hands on) experiEnce of product development
The Mechanical Design Engineer must have a minimum of 2 years relevant experiance within a product design team, preferably within aerospace.
Competitive Package (Grade 2-3, £25,000-£40,000 dependent on experience)
