Stirling Dynamics is recruiting Safety Engineers with marine (defence/military) experience to join the Systems and Safety team.
Due to upcoming projects and supporting continued growth, Stirling Dynamics is looking for talented Safety Engineers across Senior Engineer and Principal Engineer grades to join our Systems & Safety team supporting key defence/military projects in the marine systems engineering domain.
It would be advantageous to have experience in one of the following disciplines: Software, Cyber or Asset Security due to the complex and secure systems that we support.
Roles could be based in our Bristol offices, or remotely (depending upon experience), with occasional travel to our clients’ sites as required. As part of our commitment to flexibility, employees will be able to work from home for part of the week should they wish to (subject to approval).

As part of the Systems and Safety team, the Safety Engineers will be responsible for the delivery of systems safety support to our business and our clients which will include activities such as:

Candidates will ideally be degree qualified, in a related discipline, and be experienced in aerospace/military/defence related systems safety engineering principles, processes and standards.

Experience in complex systems development (Aerospace and/or Defence industries)
Experience of the full system development lifecycle (requirements, design, implementation, validation, verification, integration)

Competitive Package - Grade 4 - 7, £36,000 - £65,000 dependent on experience.
Hourly rates for contractors will be dependent on experience.
