Stirling Dynamics is looking for a talented Safety Engineer at Senior levels/grades to join our electronics & software team supporting key aerospace equipment development projects.
For this role it would be advantageous to have experience in one of the following disciplines: Electronics hardware, Embedded Software, Safety Critical System Development at equipment level, FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) design and/or verification.
The role will be based in our Bristol offices with occasional travel to our clients’ sites as required. As part of our commitment to flexibility for our staff, employees are able to work part of their week from home.
As part of the electronics and software team, the Safety Engineer will be responsible for the delivery of safety support at equipment level to our business and our clients, this will include activities such as:
Candidates will ideally be degree qualified, in a related discipline, and be experienced in aerospace related systems safety engineering principles, processes and standards. However, for those suitable candidates without relevant safety experience, a safety training programme will be provided.

Competitive package. The role can cover grades 6-7 and therefore has a wide salary range (£50,000 - £70,000) as it will depend on the candidate's experience level.
